As the majority of the UK find themselves working from home, we've switched our courses to virtual classrooms (so you really can join from your sofa).

See the courses, blogs and webinars tht QA.ltd have compiled to help you switch to working from home – efficiently and productively.

The wellbeing, health and safety of our learners, our people and communities continue to be our top priority and we are guided by the rules provided by the government.

Following the Prime Minister’s communication on 23 March 2020, with a clear instruction to stay at home, with travel to and from work only where it is absolutely necessary and cannot be done from home, we’d like to remind you that our learning delivery centres across the UK will remain closed until further notice.

We have been operating in this way for some time and the good news is that where our courses are enabled to be conducted online via our virtual classrooms and the instructor is available, then courses and classes will continue remotely. You can attend from anywhere or learn in the comfort of your own home.

If your course can continue via our online delivery platform – you’ll hear from us soon, along with joining details and further information. If you have any queries or questions, please contact 02476 411288.

As we’ve always said, the wellbeing, health and safety of our learners, our people and communities remain our top priority.

Therefore, following the Prime Minister’s communication on 18 March 2020 regarding the planned closure of schools from the end of Friday, we’ve taken the decision to close our learning delivery centres across the UK, also from the end of the day on Friday.

However, the great news is that if your course is enabled to be conducted online via our virtual offering and the instructor is available, then courses and classes will continue remotely from 23 March 2020. You can attend from anywhere or learn in the comfort of your own home!

You’ll hear from us soon if your course will continue via our online delivery platform along with joining details and further information. If you have any queries or questions, please contact 02476 411288.

The wellbeing, health and safety of our learners, our people and communities remain our top priority.

The UK Government is closely monitoring the Covid-19 situation and is taking action. We are continuously responding to and evaluating our business operations in light of the guidance.

We have and are continuing to take extensive precautionary measures within our centres to protect our community, as well as adjusting our operations to ensure our learners can continue to attend one of our courses in a way that suits them best. We will continue to serve and seek to accommodate our clients but not to the extent it compromises the safety or wellbeing of our staff or learners.

Our response procedures are under constant evaluation and for now our centres remain open. However, given the Prime Minister’s communication on 16 March, we’ve proactively contacted clients who are scheduled to attend one of our courses to encourage them to use our virtual and online delivery to support the social distancing advice.

For several weeks now we’ve been changing the way we operate in light of Covid-19 and we encourage our learners not to visit one of our centres if they do not feel comfortable to do so.

Please do not hesitate to email sarah.long@tap-learning.com or call 02476 411288 should you have any questions on our response and how it affects you.

Information from TAP

  • Is my learning centre open?

Yes, all sites are currently open. Any changes to opening will be updated on this page.

  • What are my options to continue my learning?

We appreciate that for some learners, attending our training centres over the coming weeks may prove challenging due to the Coronavirus. Don’t forget that your teams can carry on learning wherever they are, using one of our market-leading virtual classroom or online learning options:

VIRTUAL CLASSROOM: Our 600-plus courses have all the benefits of classroom study, without the hassle and cost of travel. Highly rated by many thousands of learners, and with a high Net Promoter Score®, we enable learners full access to our instructors throughout their course, as if you were there in person.

ONLINE LEARNING: Learners can work to their own schedule, anywhere, anytime.

View all available digital courses here.

  • What action are you taking?

We are following guidance issued by the government and Public Health England. As the situation develops we will continue to update this page and notify anyone affected by changes.

We continue to encourage those visiting our campuses to self-assess as recommended by Public Health England, and have put into place extra cleaning arrangements and made additional sanitisation available throughout our campuses.

At the moment, the precautionary and preventative measures we’ve adopted mean that we have been able to keep all sites operational

If we identify an increased risk to our community or have to make a change to the way we operate, we will let you know.

We have set up a number of task groups to help develop and manage our response to Covid-19. These groups are meeting on a frequent basis to discuss developments, monitor our response and implement further precautionary and preventative measures as necessary.

  • I’m worried about my health, what should I do?

If you have specific health concerns regarding Covid-19, please check the NHS Coronavirus page and follow the guidance regarding whether to contact the NHS on 111.

  • I have been advised to self-isolate by the NHS, whom should I inform?

If you are an employee of TAP, please inform your line manager who will ensure the right support is in place for you.
