TAP Learning have been dedicated to professionalising Learning & Development since 1998.

This was based upon a recognition that traditional training methodologies - or training the trainer - often incorporated no objective metric of its effectiveness and so struggled to demonstrate a return on investment to key stakeholders.

Since we were established as The Training Foundation in 1998 we have been helping organisations to improve the quality and effectiveness of learning and have worked with many of the best known organisations in both the public and private sector - including over 40% of FTSE 100 businesses. In 2016 we became part of QA - the UK's largest IT training providers - which gives our clients access to a far greater portfolio of courses. 

We have been able to achieve this having developed the robust TAP methodologies, specifically designed to ensure the objective measurement of training delivery and design.

The success of our learning and development training has been based upon innovation which has seen us winning not one but two Queen's Awards for Enterprise: Innovation.

In 2019 we re-branded to become TAP Learning; our new identity best reflecting the strength of our TAP qualifications within the L&D sphere.

Today there are over 40,000 TAP Qualified professionals helping drive learning and development programmes within their organisations improving their overall efficiency and delivering on strategic aims.
